Each month, Feed the Future releases a set of informative stories about the work of our partners across the globe. But a picture, as they say, is worth a thousand words, which is why we’re excited to announce the winners of our latest Feed the Future photo contest!
Partners from U.S. Government agencies, civil society and universities submitted more than 200 inspiring photos of Feed the Future and related U.S. Government food security activities — from Haiti to Cameroon.
These images help tell the story of Feed the Future and what it strives for: connecting farmers to markets, empowering women, improving nutrition, investing in research and innovation, and generating opportunities for economic growth and trade.
After just a few short years, Feed the Future is already contributing to notable drops in poverty and child stunting in many of the places we work, achieving progress toward a more food-secure future. These pictures give us all a glimpse into that progress and the lives that are being changed.
To select the finalists highlighted below, a panel of judges from across Feed the Future’s partner agencies voted on their favorites. Check out their top picks (our contest winners) and click on each photo for more information.
