USAID Administrator to Speak on Efforts to Strengthen Global Food Security and Reduce Hunger

USAID Administrator Rajiv Shah will deliver the keynote address at The Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) conference “Growing Food: New Places, New Technologies.” The day-long conference, set for Tuesday, April 17, will draw experts from academia, government, international organizations and the private sector. Shah will specifically focus on the importance of bringing the world together around a new approach to food security—building on the commitments from donors and African governments at L’Aquila.
