2022 saw an unprecedented global food security crisis exacerbated by COVID-19, global conflicts, and climate change. An estimated 205 million people were in need of life-saving food assistance, and some 768 million people were chronically hungry. With so much on the line, Feed the Future doubled-down on our development investments to both mitigate the worst effects of the crisis and build more sustainable and resilient systems for the longer-term.
